Homework? By: Daniel Cesarz

Don't you hate it when the teacher says, "Turn in your homework," and you do not have anything to turn in? "There was too much homework." or "I had practice!" kids will say. Us (or Fs) and detentions from not turning homework in constantly are pretty bad. I have some possible solutions to getting homework done on time. Kids can't get homework in on time.

One solution is to stay in for recess and doing it. "But I want to go outside." kids say. True, but there you can get help from a teacher if you are stuck. I have done this a lot with especially Geography and it definitely helps me have more leisure time after school. Even if you do not get everything done, something is better than nothing. Check problems with agreement and using second person

Another way is to plan to come to school early or stay there late. You can also get help from a teacher there. It is like staying in for recess, but you have as much time as you need. It may not be much fun and is not recommended.

Other ways include doing it on the bus. (This is only one way.) This is not recommended because it is unsafe. It is possible to jab a pencil in someone's (or your own) eye when the bus bumps. Plus, it is hard to write neatly. The last way would be to just skip the activity. Of course, this would not be the best way, but it can be done.

Kids cannot finish their homework on time. All the solutions are just ways to get more time to work on homework. I hope that they will help people get their homework done on time. It is so much better when the teacher says, "Time to turn in your homework." and kids have something to turn in.

• Note: In this essay, I make kids sound whiny. Ok, I used exaggeration, sue me.
